- Michigan Quit Line: 1-800-480-7848 (QUIT) - Free counseling service and nicotine patches and gum. The nicotine patches and gum are only for those who do not have health insurance.
- Free Quit Kit: 1-800-537-5666 (includes $5 discount on nicotine gums and patches)
- Medicaid Coverage of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).
The Michigan Medicaid Program does cover some types of nicotine replacement and smoking cessation medications. Please click on the guidelines link below to learn more about the program details. Prior authorization is required and a physician's order Prescription Form is needed to complete the order.
